Description:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the committee to discuss and possibly consider options presented at the previous committee meeting related to policy services offered by WASB. An overview of the options discussed at the previous meeting is attached.

IV. CONSIDER ELIMINATION OF 343-4 RULE & 423.1
Description:
With new policy 343.4 being adopted last year, and the State's elimination of Course and Youth Options, these policies are no longer necessary.

V. CONSIDER ADDING PROCEDURE TO OBTAIN AN INDEPENDENT EDUCATIONAL EVAL AT PUBLIC EXPENSE POLICY
Description:
The attached policy is recommended by Kurt Eley to outline the process for requesting an independent educational evaluation.

VII. REVIEW BUS POLICY
Description:
A request has been made for the Board to review the district busing policy related to eligibility to ride the bus and the ability to pay to ride the bus. This transportation item will take time to research if the committee is interested in pursuing this issue, and it is on the agenda to begin the dialog around this topic. Attached please find related policy for your reference.

VIII. REVIEW ADVERTISING AND FUNDRAISING POLICIES
Description:
With the soccer field fundraising group beginning discussion with the Board about fundraising and advertising options, it has been requested that the Policy Committee review the current policies related to both fundraising and advertising. The associated policies are attached for committee review.
