Description:  On Monday evening we will hold a Budget Workshop with members of the Board of Education, Administrative Cabinet, and Teacher Leadership Team.  Attached please find a Power Point Presentation that we will use on Monday evening to facilitate the discussion.  We plan to divide the participants into seven groups so that one Board Member can be at each group, and then equally divide the teachers and administrators among the groups.  The presentation has three built-in stopping points for Table Level Discussion.  We will have a note-taker at each table to capture the highlights of each conversation, and then we will compile these notes to seek guidance in preparation of the final budget.

Description:  Attached please find a request by the LaCrosse coach to travel and play a game in the Chicago area on May 11th.  This item is included on this agenda because the request to travel did not arrive in our office until after the April Board Meeting, and the event is scheduled to take place on May 11th.  Since our regular Board Meeting in May is on May13th, I need to bring this item to the Board on Monday evening, in order for it to be timely.  The team is traveling to Chicago, playing their game, and then returning home on the same day.
