IV. MSAN Institute Information

Description:
The Minority Student Achievement Network (MSAN) holds an annual conference in Madison. Middleton-Cross Plains, Madison Metropolitan, Sun Prairie, and Verona are local MSAN members in this network of twenty-seven districts across nine states. The conference is open to non-members and we have sent staff teams since 2014. Mark Hetzel attended as a Board member last year and I have a slot for a Board member to attend this year.

V. China Sister School Update and Proposed MOU

Description:
We have received additional information regarding the invitation to enter into a sister school partnership with the Shanghai TianYuan High School, including an MOU. We would like to discuss the MOU, what is happening with other districts in our area, and how fundraising might be approached. The MOU represents a statement of intentions and does not constitute an obligation or enter us into any binding financial commitments.

Tim Schell will walk through the student achievement report. This document tracks our performance over time on several measures down to the student group level. Many of the measures are presented at different points over the year, but this brings them together in one document.
