V. CO-CURRICULAR AND CLUB ORGANIZATION REQUESTS
Description:
Items A-F are each new club proposals at the middle school or high school. Brian Kersten and Marcy Peters Felice will be present at the meeting to represent these proposals and answer any questions. These new organizations will need your consideration prior to moving on to the full board for action. Reminder, a new club needs three years of successful participation in order to be eligible for adviser pay. All of these are new proposals and do not have an immediate impact on the budget.

VII. SPRING BREAK AND ATTENDANCE POLICY
Description:
At the last Co-Curricular Committee Meeting the Committee discussed sports team practices and tryouts that fall during spring break. The Committee asked Aaron May to bring back the practices of our other sports and how they deal with student absences, tryouts, etc. Aaron will report on this item to the Committee. Administration is looking for some direction on the Committee's preference for how to handle spring break and practices that fall within this time frame, and the impact on students who are not available during the week of spring break.

VIII. PARA-AMBULATORY TIME STANDARDS FOR TRACK
Description:
Aaron May and I will describe to the Committee a request we have received from a parent about prompting the WIAA to add Para-Ambulatory Time Standards to Track. We will describe this issue to you on Monday and see if you are comfortable with us and/or the Board advocating for a change at WIAA to allow for Para-Ambulatory students to participate in the sport through specialized events, much like the accommodation that has been made for wheelchair athletes.
