Description:  The purpose of this agenda item is to review the North American Mechanical (NAMI) Agreement. The district had a contract with NAMI that expired on September 30th, 2017. That contract period was for October 1st, 2012 to September 30th, 2017 and was the second contract of this type between the parties, with a total time of 10 years. Last summer, administration recommended a 1 year extension of that contract, to allow for the completion of the Facility Maintenance Plan and to evaluate the services provided by NAMI. 

I have attached the following two documents for your review: The NAMI document outlines the details of the agreement between the district and NAMI, specifically outlining the services provided to the district. The WCSD Andover document reviews information related to seeking proposals. Administration is requesting feedback from the Facility Committee on this agreement.

Description:  The purpose of this agenda item is to review the state safety grant proposal. The district is intending to apply for the $100 million dollar state safety grant program.  I have attached the following two documents for your review: The grant announcement document provides an outline of the requirements of the grant, and the type of expenditures that can be approved. The school safety grants document provides an overview of the state law that authorized the safety grant program.

We are intending to apply for the safety grant for the school building point of entry glass film (primary level) and a visitor management system and emergency communication system (secondary level).

Description:  The purpose of this agenda item is to review the Long Range Facility Growth Plan that was presented to the School Board in December, and the Facility Maintenance Plan that was presented to the School Board in February. I have attached the following three documents for your review: The School Board presentations on the Long Range Facility Growth Plan and the Facility Maintenance Plan, and the report from consultant Mark Roeffers on the Long Range Facility Growth Plan.  The WCSD Facility Maintenance report that was created by FIndorff is in the extras tab.  This report consists of 7 different spreadsheets.

Administration would like to start the discussion by reviewing the key takeaways from both the Long Range Facility Growth Plan and the Facility Maintenance Plan, and then discuss the next steps in moving forward with each of these plans.
