The points system work group met on October 24th. They discussed the limitations of points payout option #2, due to WRS requirements, and unanimously recommended forwarding points payout option #1 to the full Board for approval.

VIII. DISCUSS IMPACT OF NEW FLSA REQUIREMENTS ON INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYEES AND POTENTIAL ADJUSTMENTS AS A RESULT
Description:
As discussed at the last HR Committee meeting, there are two individuals who are currently paid salaries and classified as exempt, who will need to have their salaries raised to maintain their exempt status under the new FLSA requirements which take effect on December 1st. QTI has provided us with comparable data on these positions, which supports increasing the salaries.
