Description:  The purpose of this agenda item is to review the civil engineering proposals for Warrior Stadium. I have attached the request for proposal document and the four (4) responses for your review.

We received proposals from the three civil engineering firms that complete the majority of the football field projects in the state - POB, Rettler, and Kapur. We also received a proposal from a local civil engineer who has worked with the district in the past.

These proposals were due at 10:00 am on Friday, so the proposals have not been reviewed by administration so there are no recommendation at this time. Description:  Attached please find a proposal to recognize two long-time, well respected coaches in the district, Coach Trotta and Coach Quinn.  The proposal is to have Coach Trotta's and Coach Quinn's names on the press box with their year as Waunakee head coaches underneath.  The letters would be six inch cast metal to match the Warrior Stadium sign.  The mock up of the design is attached.  The cost of the project would be covered with funds from the families.  Per policy, this type of facility improvement needs the approval of the Board.

Description:  The purpose of this agenda item is to request approval of a summer project at Arboretum Elementary School. I have attached a memo from Joe Bellomo that explains the project, the cost, and the bids received. 

The administration has previously requested a summer project at the old high school gym for the floor and lights. We mentioned that a proposal for the high school pool heating system will come at some point. This pool heating system project is still on hold at this point while Joe Bellomo evaluates the options. We are requesting another summer project at this time. This project is for the replacement of the playground surface at Arboretum Elementary School. If approved, the district will have the same playground surface at all the K-6 buildings. Please let me know if you have any questions on the summer project request. Description:  Matt Claggett from Findorff will be present at the Facility Committee Meeting to explain and discuss options for addressing a water infiltration issue we are experiencing at the site of the new Intermediate School.  We have reviewed and been monitoring this issue for a few weeks.  Options are currently being outlined and we do not have any documentation of solutions to share with you at this time.   We will have ideas to share and discuss with the committee on July 6th.  The short version of this issue is that the infiltration areas on the site are not draining as intended, resulting in standing water and a concentration of water draining out of 3" outlet pipe in the neighbor's field.  All DNR, Town, and Village regulations have been met, but the system is not operating as designed and is causing issue with one of the neighbors.  

Description:  This agenda item is added in the event that we need to provide updates on the referendum projects.   Overall, other than the Intermediate School water infiltration issue, all projects are progressing well and are on time.

Description:  I will provide the committee with an update on the Innovation Center renovation project.  It is anticipated that demolition will begin after the July 4th Holiday, and construction can begin in the 2nd or 3rd week of July.  This project is developing a little more each day and I will provide an update on status, funding, and next steps when we meet on July 6th.
