VIII. 2015-2016 BUDGET APPROVAL AND TAX LEVY APPROVAL
Description:
The purpose of this agenda item is to review the final steps of the 15-16 budget process, and to request School Board approval of the budget and tax levy. I have attached a cover memo that provides an overview of the final steps in the budget process, and I have attached a number of additional budget and tax levy documents. The Budget Committee is recommending, on a 3-0 vote, approval of the proposed budget and tax levy. IX. UPDATE ON REFERENDUM RELATED PROJECTS
Description:
The Facility Committee met last night to continue the detailed discussions regarding the Heritage Elementary School portion of the November 2014 referendum. The Heritage portion of the project is still being designed, and is scheduled to be bid later this fall. The discussions with the Facility Committee has centered around what is included in the project, and what should be considered as maintenance projects. The Facility Committee has requested that the administration provide a high level overview of the Heritage project, and the funding options, for the entire School Board to review. Randy Guttenberg and Steve Summers will be preparing a PowerPoint that will be distributed separately from Boardbook. Please feel free to contact either of us with questions.
