II. Executive session to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity; the security procedures, school building safety and security, the use of personnel and equipment to respond to an actual, a threatened, or a reasonably potential danger to the safety of employees, students, staff, the public, or public property. [5 ILCS120/2(c)(1)(8)]

III.A. Public Hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of the Amended FY2020-2021 School District Budget.

V.A. Consideration to approve the minutes of the March 15, 2021 regular board meeting and the March 25, 2021 special board meeting.

V.C. Consideration to authorize the Superintendent to advertise for bids for paper products for the 2021-2022 school year.
V.D. Consideration to authorize the Director of Buildings and Grounds to advertise for bids for trash containers/pickup for the 2021-2022 school year.
V.E. Consideration to approve the renewal of District membership in the Illinois High School Association (IHSA), the Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA), and the Southern Illinois Junior High School Athletic Association (SIJHSAA), for the 2021-2022 school year.
V.F. Consideration to authorize full payment of salaries on or before June 15, 2021 for all employees not returning to the District for the 2021-2022 school year.
V.G. Consideration to approve a general leave of absence request from Emily Grohmann, dated March 26, 2021, for the 2021-2022 school year.
V.H. Consideration to accept a letter of retirement dated April 6, 2021 from Kay Haudrich, licensed practical nurse (lpn), effective at the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
V.I. Consideration to accept an irrevocable letter of retirement, dated March 31, 2021, from Mark Vogel, in accordance with the contract Agreement Between the Board of Education of Waterloo Community Unit School District No. 5 and the Waterloo Classroom Teachers' Association (W.C.T.A.), as stated in Article IX, Section 9.10, Severance Incentive, effective at the end of the 2024-2025 school year.
VI. Motion to accept the treasurer's report, student activity reports, and to authorize investments.

XI.A. Consideration to set the date for an organizational board meeting.
XI.B. Consideration to award the contract for the shingle roof replacement at Gardner Elementary.
XI.C. Consideration to award a five-year contract for lease of district copier machines and maintenance.

XI.E. Consideration to approve the extra-duty assignments, effective for the 2021-2022 school year as per recommendation from the District Athletic Director, Brian Unger, and administration.
XI.F. Consideration to employ one full-time HS math teacher, for the 2021-2022 school year, effective August 10, 2021, contingent upon the obtainment of an Illinois Professional Educator License, and the results of a background check and TB test.
XI.G. Consideration to employ seasonal summer help, for the summer of 2021, at the Step 1 pay rate for custodians, per the Agreement Between The Board of Education of Waterloo Community Unit School District No. 5 and Waterloo Association of Service Personnel.
