5.A. Presidential Search Process Discussion.   As part of the presidential search process, the Board is asked to review the proposed search process, timeline and Presidential Profile.  Dr. Bill Holda, ACCT Search Consultant, will be present at the board meeting to lead this discussion and review.

It would be appropriate for the Board to review the proposed presidential search process.
 

5.B. Presidential Search Process Timeline Approval.  A timeline has been developed to guide the activities associated with conducting the presidential search.  The proposed timeline for the presidential search process is attached for consideration.

It would be appropriate for the Board to approve the proposed presidential search process timeline.

 

5.C. Presidential Profile Approval. The Presidential Profile and Institutional Profile have been drafted after receiving input from forums, college leadership and the Board-appointed Search Committee.  The proposed Presidential Profile is attached for Board input and consideration. Upon Board approval, these materials will be posted and the local, state and national recruitment process commences.  

It would be appropriate for the Board to edit as appropriate and approve the Presidential Profile.
 

6. Executive Session

The President requests an Executive Session as provided in the Texas Government Code, Section 551.074.

For the purpose of considering the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee or to hear complaints or charges against a public officer or employee.

-To discuss employment terms regarding the Presidential Search.
