Description:
The safe learning committee includes Todd Toulouse (admin/parent), Scot Osborne and Adam Erickson (board members/parents) Lisa Fischer (NEA rep), Isabella Havemeier (student). I consulted with the committee on November 12 before making the change to the distance learning model. The committee and I are monitoring the COVID-19 case data and will discuss our learning model options again in later this month. The number of COVID-19 cases in Nicollet County has increased by more than twelve times since we began the school year and continues to grow. The number of cases in our 56074 zip code has increased by six times and continued to grow. The most current case data is attached.
4. Russ Schumacher of Nexus will provide an overview of the upcoming facilities project.

Principal’s Report: December 9, 2020
Parent/Teacher Conferences: Because of COVID, this year we conducted virtual conferences at all levels. The Elem. teachers tried to meet with all of their students. Secondary teachers reached out to specific students and families for conferences. If teachers were unable to meet with a student/family that evening, they tried to meet with them when both the teacher and family were available during a school day. Distance Learning Updates: What I am hearing from students, families, and staff.

10. TRUTH AND TAXATION INFORMATION / PAYABLE 2021 LEVY

The superintendent recommends approving the payable 2021 levy in the amount of $1,444,650.71. This represents a 10.65% increase compared to the 2020 levy. Truth and taxation information will be presented by Mike Hoheisel of Baird Public Finance.
