2. Insurance Claim on our Errors and Omissions Policy
Description:
We filed an insurance claim on our errors and omissions policy for a loss caused by a former employee. We received a check in the amount of $14,215.32 from our general insurance carrier to compensate the School District for health insurance that was paid in error. The loss was caused by employee mistake and there was no suspicion of fraud. |

3. Paraprofessional Resignations
Description:
We have another paraprofessional resignation for this month's board agenda. All 4 or 5 of them have accepted employment at Little Falls School District. LF offers substantially higher pay and benefits than us other area schools (e.g., Pierz, Upsala, etc.). |

4. After School MAP Resignations
Description:
In next week's board packet are action items to accept the resignations from Myra and Bryce Jensen. The siblings worked in our after school MAP program. I did not include today's attached letter in the board packet for confidential reasons. Myra resigned from her position because we required that she allow another after school MAP employee to clock out on her school issued iPad. The employee was not going to take home or use the iPad for any other reason than clocking out in Veritime. Sarah Funk, David Lemm and I cannot explain Myra's thinking/ concerns. Myra took her brother with her and he resigned too. |
