II.A.1. Conscious Discipline is a trauma informed, evidence-based and research-backed Social and Emotional Learning best practice. The early learning team of director Connie Garling-Squire, community preschool teacher Heather Vacura and early childhood special education teacher Maggie Ferris will go deeper into an overview of Conscious Discipline, sharing strategies about our role as adults to consciously manage our own emotions so we can help children do the same.
