II.A.1. Members of the Fuel Up to Play 60 team from Kaposia will share their work this year and plans for the future to get students up and moving and eating healthier.  (T. Bretoi)
    

II.A.2. School Board Recognition Week was February 18-22.  As a member of the School Board, you help make decisions that have a tremendous impact on our children’s future and the quality of life in our community. You recognize the importance of this civic duty and your flexibility to attend board meetings and events is a testament to the commitment you have for our schools and the students in which we serve.

School Board membership is one of the most personally demanding forms of public service. You spend countless hours preparing for and participating in monthly meetings. You devote a great deal of time to studying education issues and laws and listening to the concerns of parents and teachers.

On behalf of all of the students, staff, and families of our community, thank you for the important role you play in helping our School Board take care of our community’s children. (D. Webb)

VI.A. Approval, for the South St. Paul School Board to approve the revised 2018-19 elementary, secondary/CLC, and District calendars as a result of the six school cancellations so far this school year.  The revised calendars now reflect April 19, 2019 as a student contact day instead of the previously approved staff professional development day (elementary) and parent-teacher conferences (secondary).
