II.A. Kaposia PYP Coordinator Ryan Higbea facilitates a Learning Academy class designed to engage students in grades 3-5 in learning activities focused on improving their communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creative problem solving skills. Together in groups, students enter into the world of MinecraftEDU to solve problems together. Minecraft has already proven to be a motivating and engaging game for many children. Our hope is to capture that motivation and engagement and use it to help students develop academically and socially.

Mr. Higbea will be joined by several Kaposia Education Students to share the joy and hidden benefits of the world of Minecraft! (T. Bretoi/R. Higbea)
