1. CALL TO ORDER

3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Board action to approve the agenda for the meeting is expected.

4. CONSENT ITEMS
Action is requested on the following items of the consent agenda. Consent agenda items are typically adopted without discussion of the individual items because they are routine or ordinary in action.  Any consent agenda item may be removed for further discussion and deliberation by any member of the board.

The minutes from the Regular Board Meeting held on July 15, 2024.

4.D. RETIREMENTS-RESIGNATIONS
Recommend approval of the following resignations and/or retirements.

4.D.1. Cold Spring Elementary Paraprofessional - Sonja Annis.  Resignation effective July 25, 2024. 

4.D.2. Cold Spring Elementary food service worker and cleaner - Cindy Brinker.  Retirement effective August 26, 2024. 

4.D.3. Richmond Elementary School Head Custodian - Mary Huot.  Retirement effective September 6, 2024. 

4.D.4. Cold Spring Elementary Cook - Nancy Schroeder.  Retirement effective August 15, 2024.

4.E. LEAVE OF ABSENCE REQUEST

4.E.1. John Clark Elementary Teacher - Megan Ronning.  Requesting leave from approximately October 2 - January 2.

4.F. FACILITIES AND GROUNDS EQUIPMENT AND REDUCTION REQUEST
Director of Facilities and Grounds, Brent Neisinger, has deemed the following kitchen equipment obsolete due to no longer being needed and would like to sell it via public auction.
Recommendation: Approve the designation of obsolete equipment.

5.B. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE ROCORI AREA PRINCIPALS ASSOCIATION AND ISD #750 REGARDING THE ROCKVILLE/RICHMOND PRINCIPAL POSITIONS BASE SALARY AND SALARY FACTOR
The terms of the MOU will govern from July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2025.  Recommendation by the negotiations committee to approve the MOU as presented. 

5.C. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTATING BETWEEN THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF SCHOOL DISTRICT NO.750 AND EDUCATION MINNESOTA-ROCORI REGARDING E-LEARNING DAYS.
Recommendation to approve the MOU as presented.

The school district is a member in long standing with SAFF, Schools advocating for fair funding, (formerly known as SEE).  The membership dues are up for renewal and are being recommended for approval for the 2024-2025 School Year. 

5.F. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN ISD 750 AND THE CITY OF COLD SPRING FOR THE SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER
Recommendation to approve the memorandum of understanding as presented for the 24-25 school year. 

5.G. ROCORI ACTIVITIES HANDBOOK
The 2024-2025 Activities handbook is being presented for the second and final reading.  Recommendation to approve the activities handbook as presented. 

5.H. ROCORI K-12 STUDENT HANDBOOK
The 2024-2025 ROCORI K-12 Student Handbook is being presented for the second and final reading.  Recommendation to approve the handbook as presented.  

5.I. EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK
The 2024-2025 Employee Handbook is being presented for the second and final reading.  Recommendation to approve the handbook as presented.  

5.J. ROCORI COMMUNITY EDUCATION HANDBOOK 
The 2024-2025 ROCORI Community Education Handbook is being presented for the second and final reading.  Recommendation to approve the handbook as presented.  

6. DISCUSSION ITEMS
Discussion items receive individual attention because of the nature of the issues and the need for introductory or other discussion in order to review the information prior to taking action.  This is also the agenda location for items which simply need school board review, but no formal action on the item is required.  Discussion items will typically return to the agenda at a future point for more specific action.

6.A. HOUSE BUILD 2024
Superintendent Enerson will provide an update on the House Build project

8. COMMENTS AND REQUESTS FROM VISITORS
The agenda is open to visitors of the meeting to offer comments to and/or requests of the school board. The comments and requests should follow the adopted district guidelines which are printed and available at the meeting.  As a general rule, items introduced in the opportunity for comments and requests do not receive action from the School Board, but are taken under advisement or consideration for future action.

A calendar of upcoming issues of concern to the school board is included as part of the agenda.

10. CLOSED SESSION
*Pursuant to M.S. 13D.05, Subd. 3 (a), the school board will close the meeting to evaluate the performance of Superintendent Enerson, who is subject to its authority. At its next open meeting, the school board shall summarize its conclusions regarding the evaluation.
