Purpose:
To provide a summary of 2011-2012 arts programming and support Strategic Goals: 1. Have Viva City reflect MPS student population and programming in a positive and affirming way 2. Grow district arts education and integration opportunities to support students academic achievement 3. Create sustainable arts programming for MPS Proposed Outcomes: The proposed outcomes are that the School Board - Understand what MPS supported arts programming entails - Know the gaps and strength of arts staffing for 2012-2013 - Understand the reality and concerns around arts funding - Make suggestions for programming and funding for MPS Arts |
