PURPOSE: 
To discuss and provide insight on the proposed 2012-13 Minneapolis Public School Integration Plan.


STRATEGIC GOALS:
The 2012-13 Integration Plan discussion is aligned to MPS Strategic Goals;

1) Raise expectations and academic rigor for all students, aligning pre-K-12 programs with the college readiness goal;

2) Identify and correct practices and policies that perpetuate the achievement gap and institutional racism in all forms.


PROPOSED OUTCOME:
To provide the Equity and Diversity department guidance and direction as to what is needed to present a comprehensive Integration Plan to the MPS School Board and eventual submission to the Minnesota Department of Education.
