2. Closed Session
It is recommended that the Board move into closed session to consider information regarding the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity and collective negotiating matters between the public body and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees; litigation, when an action against, affecting or on behalf of the particular public body has been filed and is pending before a court or administrative tribunal, or when the public body finds that an action is probable or imminent, in which case the basis for the finding shall be recorded and entered into the minutes of the closed meeting.

Approve the school calendar, with a beginning date of August 23, 2017 and a closing date of May 31, 2017, including Parent/Teacher Conference days of November 22, 2017 and March 23, 2017, and the Teacher Institute days of August 21, August 22, October 24, 2017, and April 10, 2018 be approved as the official school calendar, year 2017-18, of School District 69, Cook County.

15.5. Ratification of the SEA Agreement
Approval of the terms of the new collective bargaining agreement with the Skokie Education Association, effective August 21, 2016 through August 20, 2019 as presented by the Board Negotiations Committee and ratified by the SEA membership on February 13, 2017  and authorize the President and Secretary to sign the contract document on behalf of the Board.

15.6. Electricity Supply Contract
It is recommended that the Board approve the electricity supply contract with Champion Energy Services for the period of September 2018 through August 2021.

16. Comments from Visitors
The President will recognize members of the audience who wish to make comments to the Board regarding any topics related to School or District business. The Board will take all comments under advisement without discussion. If a member of the public raises an issue or concern that requires follow-up, the Board President or Superintendent will do so in a timely manner.
