It is recommended that the Board move into closed session to consider information regarding the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity; collective negotiating matters between the public body and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees; litigation, when an action against, affecting or on behalf of the particular public body has been filed and is pending before a court or administrative tribunal, or when the public body finds that an action is probable or imminent, in which case the basis for the finding shall be recorded and entered into the minutes of the closed meeting; and self-evaluation, practices and procedures or professional ethics, when meeting with a representative of a statewide association of which the public body is a member.

15.5. Resolution Authorizing the Adoption of the Levy for the 2015 Levy Year
Approve the amounts to be levied for the year 2015 on the equalized assessed value for all taxable property within School District 69, Cook County, Illinois and authorize the President and Secretary of this Board to sign and file the Certification of Tax Levy, including the foregoing amounts and purposes with the Clerk of Cook County. (The Certification of Tax Levy to be appended to official minutes.)

Approve the resolution titled “Resolution to Instruct the County Clerk How to Apportion 2015 Tax Levy Extension Reductions for Skokie School District #69, Cook County, Illinois” be approved as presented by the Superintendent, and that the President and Secretary be authorized to sign the resolution on behalf of the Board. (Resolution to be appended to official minutes.)

Authorize administration to give notice to the Intergovernmental Utilities Purchasing Cooperative (IUPC) of the intent to withdraw from the pool effective March 2017 for Natural Gas and September 2018 for Electricity.
