VIII. BUDGET HEARING
Description:
We have now come to the part of the agenda where we need to conduct our Public Hearing on the budget. At this point, I would declare the Public Hearing open at ______pm.
We will now conduct a Public Hearing on the proposed budget for fiscal year 2020-2021. The tentative budget was presented to, and approved by, the Board on July 20, 2020. It has been available for public inspection during normal business hours since that time in the Business Office, and a copy of the tentative budget was also posted on our web site. Additionally, an ad was placed in the Naperville Sun on July 24, 2020 confirming approval of the tentative budget, its availability for public inspection, and setting the time, date and place for the Public Hearing, as required by law. Does anyone in the audience have any comments to make regarding the budget (going once, going twice, done)? Debbie, were there any comments received via mail? (If yes, they will be read and entered into the Public Hearing record.) Have any comments been received via email or other media? (If yes, they will be read and entered into the Public Hearing record.) If not, and hearing no further comments at the Public Hearing, I will declare the Public Hearing closed at ______pm, and we will resume our Regular Meeting. |
