Memorandum of Understanding with Bike and Hike and RIROE
Recommended Motion: that the Board of Education approve the Memorandum of Understanding between the Moline-Coal Valley School District, Rock Island Regional Office of Education, and Bike and Hike to provide bicycle assembly, maintenance, and safety programming for those enrolled in 21st Century CLC Lights on for Learning at John Deere Middle School. See Attachment No. 11.

Approval for Purchase of Property
Recommended Motion: that the Board of Education approve the purchase of the property located at 1403 11th Street, Moline, Illinois, for the purchase price of its appraised value of $86,000 with the intent to demolish the property. The Board of Education further authorizes and directs Dave McDermott, Chief Financial Officer, to execute all documents and to do all things necessary to effectuate the purchase of the property upon terms that he and the Superintendent deem acceptable. See Attachment No. 12.

Approval of CARES Funding Expenditures to Engage Services for Design of HVAC for Six Elementary Schools
Recommended Motion: that the Board of Education engage the services of Shive-Hattery, Moline, Illinois, to provide architectural, electrical, mechanical, civil, structural design, and associated drawings for the installation of HVAC in six elementary schools for a total cost of $787,000. See Attachment No. 13. |
