Authorization to Open a Single Bid

Recommended Motion:  that the Board of Education after receiving a single bid, authorize the administration to open the single bid received for the Browning Field Track Resurfacing and Painting Project and review for possible consideration and award later in the meeting.

Recommended Motion: that the Board of Education approve the actions contained in the Consent Agenda as presented.

Award of Bid

Recommended Motion:  that the Board of Education award the bid as identified for the Coolidge Sidewalk Replacement to the lowest qualified bidder, Emery Construction Group, Inc., Moline, Illinois, for the amount of $36,075.00.  See Attachment No. 12.

Award of Bid

Recommended Motion:  that the Board of Education award the bid as identified for the Moline High School Drive Concrete Repairs to the lowest qualified bidder, Emery Construction Group, Inc., Moline, Illinois, for the amount of $22,980.

Award of Bid

Recommended Motion:  that the Board of Education award the Base Bid and Alternate
No. 2 as identified for the Moline High School Asphalt Parking Lot Repairs to the lowest qualified bidder, Tri-City Blacktop, Bettendorf, Iowa, for the amount of $68,525.

Award of Bid

Recommended Motion:  that the Board of Education award the bid as identified for the Browning Field Track Base Repair and Fence Work to the lowest qualified bidder, General Asphalt Construction Company, Davenport, Iowa, for the amount of $33,642.00.

Award of Bid

Recommended Motion:  that the Board of Education award the bid for the Coolidge CCTV and for the Coolidge and Roosevelt Access Control systems to the lowest qualified bidder, Tri-City Electric, Davenport, Iowa, for the total amount of $61,318.00.  See Attachment No. 16.

Engage Services

Recommended Motion:  that the Board of Education engage the services of Northwest Restoration Company, Seaton, Illinois, for the Roosevelt Elementary School Lintels repair for the amount of $42,632.  See Attachment No. 17.

Engage Services

Recommended Motion:  that the Board of Education engage the services of Rock River Electric, Inc., Colona, Illinois, to complete the electrical work required for the Moline High School Elevator Modernization Project for the amount of $14,685.

Engage Services

Recommended Motion:  that the Board of Education engage the services of Tri-City Electric Co., Davenport, Iowa, to provide programming commissioning and training for the Coolidge CCTV and the Coolidge and Roosevelt Access Control installation for the amount of $9,085.  See Attachment No. 19.

Change Order

Recommended Motion:  that the Board of Education approve the appropriate Resolution and Change Order No. 1 with Russell Construction, Davenport, Iowa, for the Hamilton Elementary School Project for the increased amount of $52,849.  See Attachment No. 20.

Action Regarding Bid

Recommended Motion:  that the Board of Education take action as recommended and presented regarding the single bid received for the Browning Field Track Resurfacing and Painting Project.  See Attachment No. 21.

Approval of Agreement Between the Moline Education Association and the Moline Board of Education

Recommended Motion:  that the Board of Education approve the Agreement Between the Moline Education Association and the Moline Board of Education.

Approval of Multi-Year Administrator Employment Contracts

Recommended Motion:  that the Board of Education approve the multi-year Administrator Employment Contracts including set raises and insurance for the 2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17 school years.
