Approval of 1% Optional Sales Tax Resolution
Recommended Motion: that the Board of Education approve the Resolution directing the Regional Superintendent of Schools for The County of Rock Island, Illinois, to certify to the County Clerk of said County the question of imposing a retailers' occupation tax and a service occupation tax to be used exclusively for school facility purposes for submission to the electors of said County at the general primary election to be held on the 18th day of March, 2014. See Attachment No. 5.
