Description:
Other than Agenda items (Limit 30 minutes, 5 minutes per speaker). During the public comment part of each regular board meeting, up to 30 minutes of time will be allowed for district constituents to address the board. Each person may have up to 5 minutes of time to speak. This is a time of "listening" by the school board. The board is here to listen only and will not take action or discuss topics brought forward during the open forum. It may, at is discretion, ask questions for clarification of issues. The board may, if it deems appropriate, bring said issues forward at a subsequent meeting. NO PERSONAL ATTACKS WILL BE ALLOWED. The open forum is the only opportunity for members of the audience to speak out during the meeting. Please attach form and follow the guidelines for presenting your topic.

Description:
Please see the attached documents:
1. Mascot Survey Draft - I would like input on the draft from the Board. Please bring ideas for changes and then the survey will be changed and created. I would anticipate sending it out in late January or early February. 2. Enrollment Document - Enrollment is up-to-date for the month of January. You will notice that slight enrollment fluctuation continues. with an increase of 6 students from December to January. We are at roughly the same enrollment as predicted in our "What Ifs" to start the year. 3. The District was awarded the K-12 Grand Prize for Outstanding Design (Architecture in Education) for JMS. I've brought a copy of the School Planning and Management magazine. This is the third award for JMS. 4. I will provide specific instructions for your work with the Board Retreat documents at the meeting. 5. Our next Meet and Greet will be held at JHS at 7:20 AM on Monday, January 16th. 6. Meet and Confer is scheduled for Wednesday, January 18th at 3:30 PM at the DO Conference Room. 7. In addition to the Board Retreat on Monday, January 23rd which will begin at 6:00 PM, we will have a brief Special Meeting at 5:45 PM to act on the COP sale related to the land purchase. |
