Description:
1. Chip sealing of HS lots after July 1. We have accepted a bid from Minnesota Roadways. The rock will be swept and striping will be done at the end of August prior to our staff returning.
2. The ES lots will be re-striped by District Maintenance Staff. 3. The practice field behind the HS received some black dirt and seed. Sleeves will be installed on practice field with old goal posts from old varsity field. 4. The second fence behind the Varsity softball field was removed, making more green space. 5. We will be installing brand new blacktop behind the grandstands and in front of the new ticket booth and concession stand. We will also be sealcoating in front of the grandstands and lowering the four drains that present a trip hazard directly in front of the grandstands. 6. We are obtaining painting bids for the ticket booth near the RVEC parking lot and the new ticket/concession stand and grandstand area. This work will take pace mid-July. 7. We will be installing new windows in the press box at the stadium this summer prior to painting. 8. The athletic walkway that runs from the SW side of HS to stadium will be cleaned up with framing and retaining walls. 9. We will be addressing the issues behind the stadium and next to the River Ridge development. Some landscaping needs to occur after the field is reconstructed. 10. Gardens have been installed at all three buildings (SHIP grant). 11. The disc golf course construction will occur late summer/early fall (SHIP grant). 12. A cement pad is being poured at the ES for the bike racks along NE corner of school (SHIP grant). 13. The cement around the ES South side playground is being removed and will be replaced. 14. Landscaping, tree cutting, grass seeding, and mulching will occur at the buildings. This includes replacing the mulch in our playground areas. 15. We will be resurfacing the four West tennis courts this summer after the water is re-installed at the JMS. 16. Re-keying of HS is planned for this summer. 17. Mechanical system commissioning has started at the HS and ES. This will be done at the MS after the new mechanical system has been installed. 18. Two way radios have been ordered (between 20-30 for the District and some for St. John's and SW Metro). This is a safe schools purchase. St. John's and SW Metro will purchase the radios and will be tied into our system in the event of a lock-down. 19. Ceiling tile at the ES is being replaced in the main office and the main hallway. 20. General maintenance including carpet cleaning and painting is occurring at the HS and ES. |
