The board will consider the adoption of the proposed tax rate for the year 2025. The Maintenance and Operation proposed tax rate is 0.66690 (M&O) and the interest and Sinking Fund proposed tax rate is 0.34475 (I&S). The total proposed rate for 2025 will be 1.01165.

6.E. Delegate Contractual Authority to the Superintendent for the purchase of obligating the District under TEC, Chapter 49, including approval of the Agreement for the Purchase of Attendance Credits

For the 2025-2026 school year, the Board will consider to delegate contractual authority to obligate the school district under Texas Education Code (TEC) §11.1511(c)(4) to the superintendent, solely for the purpose of obligating the district under TEC, Chapter 49, Subchapters A and D, and the rules adopted by the commissioner of education as authorized under TEC, §49.006. This included approval of the Agreement for the Purchase of Attendance Credits
