3. Consultation with the School Board's legal council in closed session under Texas Government Code 551.071 regarding pending or contemplated litigation

Conduct evidentiary nonrenewal hearing for classroom teacher, in accordance with state law and Board policy DFBB (LOCAL), and take appropriate action regarding renewal or nonrenewal of the teacher's term contract governed by Chapter 21 of the Texas Education Code that was proposed for nonrenewal at the April 8, 2024, Board meeting, (Hearing in closed session under Texas Government Code 551.074 unless requested by teacher to be in open session. Any Board action will be in open session.)

5. Take action in open session following evidentiary nonrenewal hearing regarding renewal or nonrenewal of a teacher's term contract governed by Chapter 21 of the Texas Education Code that was proposed for nonrenewal at the April 8, 2024, Board meeting.
