Description:
Our Breckenridge Drama Department is presenting Murder in the House of Horrors; an audience interactive murder/mystery comedy. Performances are Friday, November 17th and Saturday, November 18th at 7:00PM and Sunday November 19th at 2:00PM The Breckenridge Senior High School is proud to announce the school winners of the American Mathematics Competitions test. The AMC 10 and AMC 12 are both 25-question, 75-minute, multiple choice examinations in high school mathematics designed to promote the development and enhancement of problem-solving skills. The AMC 10 is for students in 10th grade and below, and covers the high school curriculum up to 10th grade. The AMC 12 covers the entire high school curriculum including trigonometry, advanced algebra, and advanced geometry, but excluding calculus. These competitions were administered around the country on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. The AMC 10/12 provides an opportunity for high school students to develop positive attitudes towards analytical thinking and mathematics that can assist in future careers. Freshman Harry Ockhardt had the top BHS score in the AMC 10 contest. Senior Colin Suko earned first place in the AMC 12 BHS contest. Colin also took top honors in his freshman and sophomore years. Forty BHS students participated in the contest. |
