8.B. Drumline ExtraCurricular Activity
Description:
Motion to recognize Drumline as an extracurricular activity at the high school for students grades 7-12. The Activity Committee met and is recommending approval. There will be no additional cost to the school as it is considered an extension of the High School Band.

8.C. ELL Contract
Description:
The agreement with the Campbell/Tintah School District for English Language Learner (ELL) consultation services is enclosed. The agreement is for one day (4.64 hours) per week at a rate of $319 per day for an estimated 17 days for the 2021/2022 school year.

Description:
Motion to approve the contract with Intrado to renew School Messenger for communication service with families and staff for $1,748.25 for the 2021/2022 school year. The cost is the same as last year.

8.E. Assurance of Compliance
Description:
The online Assurance of Compliance and Mandated Reporting with MDE has been completed and submitted to MDE. Annual approval is needed to approve the online submission. The report assures the Federal and State Departments of Education that ISD#846 is not knowingly participating in any discrimination acts. Attached are the online questions that we are required to answer for MDE.

8.F. Calendar Change-High School Conferences
Description:
Administration is requesting to adjust the school calendar to move high school conferences on Monday, November 1 from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. to 4:00 to 7:30 p.m. due to the high school band and choir performing arts showcase which will start at 7:30 p.m. with a community meal at 6:00 p.m. The evening will include a presentation on the referendum. Motion is needed to approve this calendar change.

8.G. Election Canvass
Description:
Election results will need to be canvassed before the next regular meeting (by statute from November 5-12). A special meeting will need to be scheduled. Administration is recommending scheduling a meeting on Nov 8, 9, or 10/time.

Description:
