Citizens are provided time to address the Board. If individuals wish to provide public comment:
To Provide Public Comment Verbally by Attending the Meeting (Virtually): 
We have created a public comment sign-up form so that members of the public can join the Board of Education meeting through zoom to provide public comment verbally. Only those that register in advance will be able to provide verbal comments.
  • Register for Citizen Statement. 
  • The Citizen Statement form will be open for collecting registrations on Thursday, Feb. 18 from 12:01 a.m. through 6 p.m. in advance of the Board of Education meeting.
  • To confirm your participation in the meeting, you will receive further instructions and the Zoom Link by email at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 18, the day of the Board of Education meeting. 

Provide Public Comment with Written Statement:
Any correspondence submitted in advance of the meeting has already been shared (or will be) with the Board of Education. If you are unable to join the meeting to provide public comment verbally via Zoom, you may submit a citizen statement to be read into the record. 
  • Citizen Statements must be sent to Citizen@dist50.net between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Feb. 18, 2021.
  • If the statement is submitted outside of this timeframe, it will still be provided to the Board of Education, but it will not be read into the record during the meeting. 

All other correspondence to the Board may be submitted to Board@dist50.net.
