Our presentation tonight is the Hybrid Learning Plan which is being presented by Dr. Hubbard.

5. Public Participation
Description:
At this time, we would like to open the meeting to public participation. If there is anyone who would like to address the Board, please indicate so by using the raise your hand feathre.
IF YES: For those wishing to address the Board, we request that once you are unmuted you sign in by stating your first and last name before you begin speaking. As a courtesy, we ask that you please limit comments to 5 minutes. Please note that the Board typically does not respond to comments during the meeting. Administration will provide a follow up repsonse within the next few days if possible. Dr. Hubbard, will you please unmute our first speaker? Description:
This concludes the open session portion of our meeting. May I have a motion to go in to closed session?

7.A. The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees, specific indidivuals who serve as independent contractors in a park, recreational, or educational setting, or specific volunteers of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee, a specific individual who serves as an indepent contractor in a park, recreational, or educational setting, or a volunteer of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity. However, a meeting to consider an increase in compensation to a specific employee of a public body that is subject to the Local Government Wage Increase Transparency Act may not be closed and shall be open to the public and posted and held in accordance with this Act. 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1); and

7.B. Security procedures, school building safety and security, and the use of personnel and equipment to respond to an actual, a threatened, or a reasonably potential danger to the safety of employees, students, staff, the public, or public property. 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(8).
