Request approval to accept the resignation of Mr. Chad Croucher from the position of Head Boys Swim Coach for the 2018-19 school year.

Request approval to accept the resignation of Mr. Eugene Poull from the position of Head Boys Tennis Coach for the 2018-19 school year.

Request approval to move Mrs. Kelly Romero, Third Shift Custodian from probationary status to full-time status with all the responsibilities and benefits of a full-time employee effective September 28, 2018.

Request approval to hire Ms. Jennifer Konow for the position of School Health Aide for the 2018-19 school year pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements. This position is available due to the resignation of the previous aide, Mrs. Ivonne Nino. Ms. Konow will be paid $30.31 per hour per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Miss Dena Hammad for the position of Assistant Softball Coach for the 2018-19 school year. This position is available due to the resignation of the previous coach, Mrs. Theresa Kelsey. Ms. Hammad has already worked in the district and all pre-employment requirements have been successfully completed. Ms. Hammad will be paid $8,041 for the spring season (13.60% of BA Step 1 ($59,125, Year 1).

Request approval to hire Mr. German Garcia for the Substitute Custodian position for the 2018-19 school year pending success completion of pre-employment requirements. Mr. Garcia will be employed on an "as need" basis and will be paid $17.46 per hour.

Request approval to hire Mr. Juan Martinez for the Substitute Custodian position for the 2018-19 school year pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements. Mr. Martinez will be employed on an "as need" basis and will be paid $17.46 per hour.

Request approval to hire Mr. Brett Lettiere as the SAT Prep Program Coordinator for the 2018-19 school year. Mr. Lettiere is a current employee in the district and all pre-employment requirements have been successfully completed. Mr. Lettiere will work approximately ten (10) afternoons and ten (10) evenings at the excess time pay rate of $37.10 per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Ms. Samantha Matuszak for the Substitute Teacher position for the 2018-19 school year pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements. Ms. Matuszak will be paid $22.00 per hour per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Joana Alcala Gil as the Clerical Student Aide for the Humanities Department for the 2018-19 school year. Joana will work after school hours for about eight (8) hours a month as needed at an hourly rate of $8.25.

Request approval to renew the contract with Midwest Educational Support Services for the 2018-19 school year. Midwest provides speech language therapy to Argo students. The total cost to the district for these services is $103,116.

Request approval for Bedford Park District Baseball Program to use the Dr. Frank Stout Field House and West Gym on November 1, 2018 to April 1, 2019 on Sundays from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The recommendation is pending 75% residency, no out of district rental fee will be assessed. Security and/or maintenance fees may apply. A current certificate of insurance will be required prior to use of the facilities.

Request approval for Gremio Junior Soccer Club to use the Dr. Frank Stout Field House November 1, 2018 to March 1, 2019 on the following days and times: Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Monday through Thursday, 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The recommendation is pending 75% residency, no out of district rental fee will be assessed. Security and/or maintenance fees may apply. A current certificate of insurance will be required prior to use of the facility.

Request approval for Indian Springs School District #109 to use the Swanson Gym and the Dr. Frank Stout Field House for their commencement ceremony on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The recommendation is no charge to the school district for use of the facilities; security and/or maintenance charges may apply. A current certificate of insurance is required prior to use of the facilities.

Request approval for Saint Joseph School Athletic Programs to use the Dr. Frank Stout Field House, West Gym and Cafeteria on Mondays and Fridays from October 16, 2018 to March 1, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The recommendation is pending 75% residency, no out of district rental fee will be assessed. Security and/or maintenance fees may apply. A current certificate of insurance will be required prior to use of the facilities.

Request approval for the United States Marine Corps to use the Dr. Frank Stout Field House, Memorial Stadium, Swanson Gym, Cafeteria, and classrooms 156-160 for Semper Fi boot camp on Friday/Saturday, October 26-27, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The recommendation is no out of district rental charge will be assessed. Security and/or maintenance fees may apply. A current certificate of insurance is on file in the Activities office.
