Request approval to accept the notice of resignation from Mr. Richard Sprague II from the position of Art Club Head Sponsor for the 2018-19 school year.

Request approval to hire Ms. Alexa Edwards for the Art Club Head Sponsor position for the 2018-19 school year. Ms. Edwards is a current teacher in the district and all pre-employment requirements have been successfully completed. This position is available due to the resignation of the previous sponsor, Mr. Richard Sprague II. Ms. Edwards will be paid $1,561.00 (2.64% of BA Step 1 - $59,125, Year 1) per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Mr. Zachary Collins for the Head Speech and Debate Sponsor position for the 2018-19 school year. Mr. Collins is a current teacher in the district and all pre-employment requirements have been successfully completed. This position is available due to the resignation of the previous sponsor, Ms. Cara Prochaska. Mr. Collins will be paid $7,095.00 (12.00% of BA Step 1 - $59,125.00, Year 1) per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to move Mr. Frank Rinaldi, Student Supervisor from probationary status to regular status with all the responsibilities and benefits of a full-time employee effective September 19, 2018.

Request retroactive approval to hire Ms. Nariman Rizek (as of 8/22/18) for the ESS Instructional Assistant position for the 2018-19 school year. All pre-employment requirements have been successfully completed. Ms. Rizek is replacing Ms. Kristi Gabriel who recently resigned. Ms. Rizek will be paid $24.92 per hour per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Ms. Vickie Maslowski for the Science Resource Program for the 2018-19 school year. Ms. Maslowski is a current teacher in the district and all pre-employment requirements have been successfully completed. Ms. Maslowski will be paid $37.10 per hour per the Collectively Bargained Agreement. This program is funded through the Title I Grant.

Request approval to hire Ms. Madeline Munoz for the Utility Clerk position in the PPS Department for the 2018-19 school year pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements. Ms. Munoz will work 10 months, 15 hours per week at $18.29 per hour.

Request retroactive approval to hire Rachel Alber (as of 9/10/18) as a paid Student Aide in the Main Office East for the 2018-19 school year. Rachel will work zero hour, five (5) days per week and will be paid $8.25 per hour. Rachel is replacing Amber Marzec who recently resigned.

Request approval to hire the following juniors and seniors as paid Student Aides in the IT department for the 2018-19 school year. The students will work during their free periods, and as needed during the winter and spring breaks at an hourly rate of $8.25.

Mrs. Castillo will be filling the vacant Assistant Speech and Debate Sponsor position and will be paid $5,322 (9.00% of BA Step 1 - $59,125, Year 1) per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Mr. Brian Todd Evans for the Head Badminton Coach position for the 2018-19 school year. Mr. Evans is a current teacher in the district and all pre-employment requirements have been successfully completed. This position is available due to the resignation of the previous coach, Ms. Adena Hawkins. Mr. Evans will be paid $9,930 (16.00% of BA, Step 6 - $62,060), Year 8) per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Mr. Robert Markatos for the Head Girls Bowling position for the 2018-19 school year. Mr. Markatos is a current teacher in the district and all pre-employment requirements have been successfully completed. This position is available due to the resignation of the previous coach, Mr. Andrew Corbin. Mr. Markatos will be paid $7,095 (12.00% of BA Step 1 - $59,125, Year 1) per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval for the Argo Redbirds Softball Club to use the Softball Field and the Dr. Frank Stout Field House on the following dates:
September - October, 2018 - Softball Field; Saturday's from 9:00am to 1:00 pm and Sunday's from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. November, 2018 - April, 2019 - Field House; Saturday's from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm and Sunday's from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The district recommendation is pending 75% residency, no out of district fee will be assessed. Fees for security and/or maintenance may apply. A current certificate of insurance will need to be provided prior to use of facilities. |
Request approval for the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church to use the Mike Wojciehowicz Aquatic Center on January 6, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The district recommendation is no rental charge for use of facility. Request approval for the Peckwas Prep Academy to use the Charles Bulow Auditorium on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 and Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The district recommendation is no rental charge for use of the facility. Fees for security, AV, IT and maintenance may apply. A current certificate of insurance will need to be provided prior to use of the facility.
