Request approval to accept the request from Physical Education teacher, Mrs. Lauren Evoy to take a Family Medical Leave of Absence (FMLA) beginning on or around August 23, 2018 and ending on or around January 7, 2019.

Request approval to hire Ms. Marissa Connolly for the full-time Social Worker position for the 2018-19 school year pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements. Ms. Connolly will be paid at MA +30 Step 2, $69,436 per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Ms. Sandra Hamid for the full-time Social Worker position for the 2018-19 school year pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements. Ms. Hamid will be paid at MA +30 Lane $62,965 per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Ms. Erica Sobanski as a full-time Science Teacher for the 2018-19 school year. Ms. Sobanski's pre-employment qualifications are already on file and she will be paid at BA Step 5, $61,474 per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Mr. Sam Weiss as a full-time Science Teacher for the 2018-19 school year pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements. This position is available due to a science teacher who will not be returning next year. Mr. Weiss will be paid at MA Step 1, $63,124 per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Mr. Taylor Loux as a full-time Social Science Teacher for the 2018-19 school year pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements. Mr. Loux will be replacing Mrs. Jean Sedory who is retiring at the end of the school year. Mr. Loux will be paid at BA Step 5, $61,474 per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Mr. Shayne LeBeau for the Student Supervisor position effective on or around August 6, 2018 pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements. Mr. LeBeauf will be replacing Mrs. Pam McDonald who is retiring at the end of the 2017-18 school year and will be paid $22.69 per hour per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to move 3rd Shift Custodian, Ms. Elsa Contreras from probationary to regular full-time status with full vested rights in all programs effective March 23, 2018.

Request approval to hire the following ESS Teacher Aides for the 2018 summer school sessions. Instructional aides will be paid $24.31 per hour up to 6/30/18 and $24.92 per hour starting 7/1/18 per the Collectively Bargained Agreement. Instructional aides will not exceed 80 hours per session, or 160 hours for the summer. Employment is based on student enrollment. All the following aides have the appropriate certifications and are currently employed at Argo.

This hire is filling the final vacant assistant football position. Mr. Esposito will be paid $8,514 for the fall season (14.40% of BA Step 1 ($59,125), Year 4) per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request retroactive approval to hire Mr. Greg Kolke for the position of Assistant Boys Tennis Coach effective March 23, 2018. This hire is due to the promotion of Mr. Mateusz to head coach. Mr. Kolke will be paid a prorated stipend of $4,632.50 for the spring season (full stipend: 12.80% of BA Step 1 ($57,909), Year 1) per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Mr. Salvadore Montes for a Social Work Intern for the 2018-19 school year pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements. Mr. Montes will be paid a stipend (reimbursable through the Illinois State Board of Education) amount of $1,250 per semester for a total cost to the district of $2,500 for the school year.

Request approval for International Club Sponsor, Mr. Tony Manjarrez and volunteer, Ms. Assurim Rosete to chaperone eight (8) members of the club to participate in the National Hispanic Institute Young Leaders Conference Midwest Great Debate from July 10 - July 15, 2018. The Debate will be held at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. Their participation will require an overnight stay at the supervised dormitories at the college. The approximate cost to the district for this trip is $1,800.

Request approval for Fusion Girls Travel Basketball to use the Swanson Gym on April 20, 27 and May 4,11,18 & 25, 2018 on Fridays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The recommendation is no charge to the organization pending 75% residency. The current certificate of insurance expires 9/26/18.
