Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education accept and approve the donations received and deposited in June 2026 as follows: 05/27/26 Wabasso Basketball Boosters $1,500 to go towards the purchase of Dr. Dish for basketball program; and 06/02/26 American Red Cross $500 for Senior Scholarships.

Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education approve posting the Call For Bids for the 2026-2027 School Year for milk, bread, LP and #2 diesel fuel, gas at pump, and vehicle maintenance with bids to be awarded at the July 2026 school board meeting.

Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education approve the following Resolution Governing Write In Vote Counting: WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute § 204B.09, subd. 3 authorizes a school to adopt a resolution governing the counting of write-in votes; WHEREAS, a school that adopts a resolution must do so before the first day of filing for office; WHEREAS, election officials spend considerable time and resources to count and individually record write-in votes cast, many of which are frivolous; and WHEREAS, in order to save time and resources, it is in the best interest of the School District of Wabasso Public Schools to enforce restrictions on the counting of write-in votes consistent with the provisions of Minnesota Statute § 204B.09, subd. 3. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SCHOOL BOARD OF ISD 0640 WABASSO, MINNESOTA THAT: Votes for write-in candidates will only be individually recorded if the total number of write-in votes for an office is equal to or greater than the fewest number of non-write-in votes for a ballot candidate for that office. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that pursuant to Minnesota Statute § 204B.09, subd. 3, this resolution shall remain in effect until a subsequent resolution on the same subject is adopted by the School District 0640 of Wabasso, MN. Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education approve the Notice of Filing For School Board Election as presented and as follows: NOTICE OF FILING DATES FOR ELECTION TO THE SCHOOL BOARD INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 0640 WABASSO PUBLIC SCHOOLS, STATE OF MINNESOTA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the period for filing affidavits of candidacy for the office of school board member of Independent School District No. 0640 shall begin on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, and shall close at 5:00 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education approve the quote for patching, sealing, and painting three parking lots as stated in proposal dated 05/19/2026 and signed by Superintendent Fulton on 06/03/2026. The three parking lots to be included are: Activity Center South Lot, Activity Center North Lot, and Student/Public Parking Lot at corner of May and Cedar Streets.

Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education declare the following as Excess Equipment and post for the sale there of: gas stove, electric stove, and miscellaneous table tops, shelves, and wood tables.

Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education approves the requirement of all payroll earnings be made by direct deposit beginning August 1, 2026. This includes all wages paid to all adult and student employees full or part time, coaches, activity event workers, and substitutes in all positions. Notice of this requirement will be given to all current employees prior to August 1, 2026, and new employees thereafter.

Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education hire Melissa Wagner as a Reading Interventionist for the 2026-2027 School year. This position will be at a rate of $16.00 per hour, for 7.5 hours per day on all school days according to the ISD 640 School Day Calendar.

Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education accept the resignation of Elizabeth Pitzl as the Assistant Play Director effective immediately.

Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education hire Carly Fenger and Scarlett Hillesheim as part time Summer Care Corner Assistants at the rate of $10.75 per hour.

Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education approve the Memorandum of Understanding with Confidential and Supervisory Employees regarding Bookkeeper position as presented.

Recommended Motion(s):  Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education approve the Building and Grounds Supervisor position increase to .67 FTE beginning July 1, 2026 for the 2026-2027 School Year.
