Be it Resolved that the ISD 640 Board of Education approve the Adult and Guest meal prices for the 2025-2026 according to the School Nutrition Program minimum requirements at this time as follows: Breakfast $2.40/meal; Lunch $5.00/meal
Discussion:
School Nutrition Program funds may not subsidize meals served to adults, student guests, or other non-program meals such as second meals for a student. The meal price must be set high enough so that the cost of the meal is fully paid by the customer. The required minimum meal price calculation is based on the state and federal reimbursement rates plus the national average per meal value of U.S. Department of Agriculture Foods, rounded up to the nearest five cents. |
