IV. Public Comment
Description:
At this time, the President of the Board of Education will recognize visitors and ask if any citizen of the community is interested in speaking to members of the Board of Education. Time allowed will generally be limited to three minutes for each individual, unless waived by the President. All individuals who wish to address the Board of Education must sign up in advance. The President may limit the opportunity to address the Board in cases where a person has previously addressed the Board on the same or related subject. Issues brought to the Board prior to being channeled through the proper chain of command will be referred back to the appropriate level.

Description:
Kristina Docherty has submitted a letter of intent to retire at the end of the 2028-2029 school year, under Option 1 of the EMEA Collective Bargaining Agreement 2022-2028. Ms. Docherty is currently employed as a physical education teacher at Bowlesburg Elementary and will retire with 33 years of district service.

Description:
Lori Willhite has submitted a letter of intent to retire on June 30, 2025. Ms. Willhite is currently employed as an assistant bookkeeper at the district office, and will retire with 20 years of district service.

Description:
Alexcia Schomer has been re-employed as an instructional aide at Ridgewood Elementary School, effective February 10, 2025. Maleya Silva has been employed as an instructional aide at the East Moline Early Learning Center, effective February 24, 2025. Angelique Ramos-Freeman has been hired as a four-hour bus driver and playground monitor at Hillcrest Elementary, effective January 27, 2025. |

Description:
Belinda Rusch has submitted a letter of intent to retire at the end of the 2024-2025 school year. Ms. Rusch is currently employed as a special education instructional aide at Glenview Middle School. Ms. Rusch retires with 10 years of district service. Berta Velasquez has submitted a letter of intent to retire at the end of the 2024-2025 school year. Ms. Velasquez is currently employed as a special education instructional aide at Glenview Middle School. Ms. Velasquez retires with 23 years of district service. |

Description:
Erik Tank has submitted a letter of resignation from his position as a system and security architect, effective February 11, 2025. Melissa Nieves has submitted a letter of resignation from her position as an instructional aide at Glenview Middle School, effective February 18, 2025. Ms. Nieves remains employed as a substitute instructional aide in the district. Hayley Bjork has submitted a letter of resignation from her position as a security monitor at Glenview Middle School, effective February 19, 2025. Stephanie Bjork has submitted a letter of resignation from her position as a secretary at Glenview Middle School, effective February 24, 2025. |

Description:
Angela Blair has requested an unpaid leave of absence from her position as a librarian at Hillcrest Elementary for 1 day on February 7, 2025. Courtenay Spencer has requested an unpaid leave of absence from her position as a teacher at Wells Elementary for 5.5 days on January 15, January 17, February 4, February 5, February 18 and February 19, 2025. |

Description:
Jamie Bull has requested 10.5 days of unpaid leave of absence from her position as an instructional aide at Glenview Middle School on December 18, 2024 and January 13,15,24,27 and February 5, 7, 10, 11, 13 and 14, 2025. Christopher Palmer has requested 1.5 days of unpaid leave of absence from his position as an instructional aide at Wells Elementary on February 10, 2025 and February 21, 2025. Donald Grooms has requested 10 days of unpaid leave of absence from his position as a bus driver and playground monitor, from February 17 to February 28, 2025. |
