IV. Public Comment
Description:
At this time, the President of the Board of Education will recognize visitors and ask if any citizen of the community is interested in speaking to members of the Board of Education. Time allowed will generally be limited to three minutes for each individual, unless waived by the President. All individuals who wish to address the Board of Education must sign up in advance. The President may limit the opportunity to address the Board in cases where a person has previously addressed the Board on the same or related subject. Issues brought to the Board prior to being channeled through the proper chain of command will be referred back to the appropriate level.

Elizabeth Compeau has submitted a letter of resignation from her position as an instructional aide at Wells Elementary, effective May 24, 2024. Ann Torres has submitted a letter of resignation from her 6 hour bus driver/trainer position. She will remain employed as a four hour bus driver. Latrice Davis-Jasper has submitted a letter of resignation from her job-share playground supervisor position at Bowlesburg Elementary, effective April 9, 2024. Description:
Madison Anderson has requested an unpaid leave of absence from her position as a Special Education teacher at Wells Elementary from May 17, 2024 through May 29, 2024 for maternity leave. Hope Roberts has requested an unpaid leave of absence from her position as a Speech-Language Pathologist at the East Moline Early Learning Center following the birth of her child in fall 2024 and use of all available paid leave, through January 3, 2025. Kara Hauer has requested an unpaid leave of absence from her position as an 8th grade math teacher following the birth of her child in fall 2024 and use of all available paid leave, through October 4, 2024 |
