IV. Public Comment
Description:
At this time, the President of the Board of Education will recognize visitors and ask if any citizen of the community is interested in speaking to members of the Board of Education. Time allowed will generally be limited to three minutes for each individual, unless waived by the President. All individuals who wish to address the Board of Education must sign up in advance. The President may limit the opportunity to address the Board in cases where a person has previously addressed the Board on the same or related subject. Issues brought to the Board prior to being channeled through the proper chain of command will be referred back to the appropriate level.

Rasha Tagaldain has been re-employed as an Arabic bilingual education teacher at Glenview Middle School for the 2024-2025 school year. Guadalupe Garcia has been employed as a Spanish bilingual education teacher at Glenview Middle School for the 2024-2025 school year. |

Description:
Brandy Lawrence has requested an unpaid leave of absence following the use of available sick leave after the birth of her child, through May 29, 2024. Ellen Thorndyke has requested a leave of absence from her position as a 5th grade science teacher at Glenview Middle School for the 2024-2025 school year for purposes of childcare. |

Description:
Linda Poppe has requested an unpaid leave of absence from her position as a food service worker from April 9, 2024 through April 29, 2024 for medical reasons. Jaycie Cline has requested an unpaid leave of absence from her position as an instructional aide at Hillcrest Elementary for January 29, 2024, January 31, 2024, February 23, 2024, February 29, 2024, and from March 18, 2024 through May 29, 2024 for medical and maternity leave. Timanette Morrison has requested an unpaid leave of absence from her position as an instructional aide at the Early Learning Center from April 8, 2024 through April 25, 2024 for medical reasons. |
