Description:
At this time, the President of the Board of Education will recognize visitors and ask if any citizen of the community is interested in speaking to members of the Board of Education. Time allowed will generally be limited to three minutes for each individual, unless waived by the President. All individuals who wish to address the Board of Education must sign up in advance. The President may limit the opportunity to address the Board in cases where a person has previously addressed the Board on the same or related subject. Issues brought to the Board prior to being channeled through the proper chain of command will be referred back to the appropriate level.

V. FOIA Requests
Description:
The District received a FOIA request asking for COVID-19 Protocol from LocalLabs which is an online publication that reports on and informs the public about local government activities. This FOIA request was responded to by District 37 legal counsel.

Description:
It is recommended that the minutes from the September 27, 2021 Budget Public Hearing and minutes from the regular September 27, 2021 meeting be approved.

Description:
It is recommended that the Treasurer’s Report for September 2021 be approved subject to audit.

Description:
It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the payment of bills listed, received during the month of September 2021, to be paid during the month of September 2021, and quick pays during the month of October 2021.

Description:
The following individuals have been employed as instructional aides: Nakyah Mosley, Wells, effective September 30, 2021 Cynthia Dean has been employed as a four-hour office aide at Glenview Middle School, effective October 28, 2021. Gregory Hines, Roxanne Bogs, and Diana Aguilar have been employed as four-hour bus drivers, effective October 15, 2021. Terianna Russell has been employed as a four-hour bus monitor, effective October 15, 2021. Cristina Ruiz has been employed as a 5.75-hour general kitchen helper (floater), effective October 13, 2021 |
VI.5.b. Personnel - Classified - Leave of Absence
Description:
Karen Gengler has requested an extension of her unpaid leave from October 13, 2021 to October 27, 2021.

VI.5.c. Personnel - Licensed - Leave of Absence
Description:
Allison Miller has requested unpaid leave from her teaching responsibilities at Bowlesburg Elementary through January 31, 2022, following the use of available sick and personal leave. This request is for medical reasons. Wendy Orman has requested unpaid leave through the end of the 2021-22 school year, following the birth of her child in February and the use of allowable sick and personal leave. Ms. Orman teaches at Bowlesburg Elementary. |

Description:
Heather King and Tamika Dampeer have moved from four-hour bus monitors to six-hour bus monitors, effective October 1, 2021.

Description:
Theresa Majchrzak has submitted a letter of resignation, for the purpose of retirement, effective at the end of the 2021-22 school year. She requests to retire under Option 2 of the 2020-2025 EMEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
