Description:
We do not need to negotiate his salaries outside of the LSHEA agreement. This MOU is regarding the extra days and the ability to return to the classroom, and that, he will be able to be represented by the union. His previous contract was not figured with the LSHEA contract, but we have agreed that he has worked extra days to compensate for the difference.

6.4. Recommendation to approve 2020-21 MOU's.

6.4.1. Alexis Frischmon
Description:
We do not need to negotiate her salary outside of the LSHEA agreement. This MOU is regarding the extra days and the ability to return to the classroom, and that, she will be able to be represented by the union. Her previous contract was not figured with the LSHEA contract, but we have agreed that she has worked the extra days to compensate for the difference. Now we are on track for her representation by the LSHEA.

Description:
Her contract has increased days by 23 to make it the same as teachers at 185.
Her salary is moving from $41,129 to $50,000 for 2019-20 Her salary increase comes out of Fund 4. Increased days by 29. 17 Moving from $41,129 to $50,000. |

7. RECOMMENDATION TO APPROVE PURCHASES ABOVE $5,000
Description:
Per Policy 797 - Purchasing, Article 3 Payments, Section D. "individual purchases of more than five thousand dollars ($5,000) require prior school board approval." Approval is recommended.

7.1. Recommendation to approve additional costs Workforce Coordinator for 2020-21.
Description:
SCSC is asking the 3 schools to pick up approx. $7,000 to continue this program for the last year of the grant. This has gone before the Finance Committee. Finance committee feel we can continue participation for one more year and then reanalyze it if the district wishes to continue participation. Mr. Thorstad feels he would like one more year to review as his team is just now starting to implement and understand how to utilize this position more effectively to grow partnerships between business and school.
