10.1. Consideration to adopt the 400 Policies Series
Description:
All of the 400 Series Policies now at the top "Le Sueur-Henderson Public Schools Policy 4xx" and indicate whether they are a MSBA Model Policy or a Local Policy. Also, links have been added that will direct reader to superintendent procedures and lists of names and numbers of staff where appropriate. Approval is recommended.

10.2. Consideration to approve the first reading of Policy 413 - Harassment and Violence.
Description:
Policy 413 was first reviewed by the Policy Committee on October 22, 2018. Approval is recommended.

10.3. Consideration to approve the 2019 Pay Equity Report.

10.4. Receipt of Early Retirement Incentive Applications
Description:
Early retirement incentive applications were received in the District office and are presented to the Board. These applications will be discussed at the February 4 HR committee meeting with recommendations to follow from Dr. Johnson.

10.5. Pending Grievance
Description:
The Superintendent is requesting authority to attempt to resolve the grievance at her level, on any terms she deems appropriate. If the grievance is resolved, the written agreement will be provided to the Board.

11. BOARD MEMBER COMMUNICATIONS / IDEAS EXCHANGE
|
|
11.1. November Workshop Meeting Date
Description:
The MREA conference is Nov. 17,18,19. I serve on the board and need to attend this meeting. Director Prom also would like to attend this meeting. I would like to recommend that we reschedule this meeting from the 18th to the 19th. Another option would be that attendance could be by electronic means.

11.2. Exciting Things Happening in District

Description:
Superintendent Johnson will share out on various activities in the LS-H District.

11.3. Participation in 2019 Graduation Ceremony
Description:
MS/HS Secretary, Casie Graham, is currently working on setting details for Graduation. She needs to know what school board members will be attending graduation and needs to place an order for your regalia for rental. If you are in the fence we can always order and return free of charge, as long as it is unopened.
Also, Casie is in need of 4 members to help hand out diplomas. The Graduation ceremony will be Sunday, May 26 (this is Memorial Day weekend). |
