Description:
Each year, the OCSBA Resolutions & Bylaws Committee (R&B) convenes for two purposes - to draft resolutions and to review our bylaws. The resolutions are based on legislative priorities that were recommended by the Government Relations Committee (GRC) and approved by the OCSBA Board of Directors. Resolutions that are approved by at least nineteen (19) Member School Districts shall be the official position of the Association as interpreted and pursued by its Board of Directors. R&B reviews the bylaws annually and recommends amendments when appropriate to ensure the smooth operation of the Association.
In accordance with our bylaws, the 2021 resolutions and proposed amendments to our bylaws are now provided for voting by our Member School District Boards of Education. The Board of Education of each Member School District has one (1) vote on the resolutions and one (1) vote on the proposed amendments to the bylaws. We are providing separate ballots for these votes. Please make sure that your vote counts!
