DECA State Career Development Conference: Michael Reynolds, Career Preparation Center Principal, is requesting Board approval for a Student Services Coordinator/DECA Advisor to chaperone five students from the Eaton RESA DECA Chapter who are eligible to compete at the state conference in Detroit, Michigan, from March 9-12, 2022. Kathleen Szuminski, Assistant Superintendent for Career & Technical Education, is requesting Board approval for a Career Development Coordinator to assist the Maple Valley Schools DECA Advisor and 15 students who qualified to attend the state conference as well.
I.E.3) MASB Board of Directors Election Ballot: MASB is requesting that each district cast one 2022 ballot for the election of candidates to serve its Board of Directors. Based on a review of the candidate information, the Board of Education will cast votes and submit one ballot for Eaton RESA.

I.E.4) Packard Parking Lot/Sidewalk Project: Tina Monroe, Executive Director of Finance & Operations, is requesting that the Board approve to contract with C2AE in order to move forward with the design, bidding and construction phase of the proposed parking lot and sidewalk work at the Packard Facility in an amount not to exceed $35,200, plus estimated incidental costs of $440. Bids will be released in the fourth quarter of 2022 for work in spring/summer 2023.

I.E.5) 2021-22 Contracted School Social Worker Services: Ryan Harp, Assistant Superintendent for Special Education, is requesting that the Board authorize the Superintendent to execute an agreement with AMN Healthcare to provide the current 1.0 FTE contracted School Social Worker vacancy for the remainder of the 2021-22 school year from February 22, 2022 to June 15, 2022 in an amount not to exceed $43,800.

I.F.1) Meadowview School Winter Benchmark Progress Update: Public Act 48 Section 104a requires districts to implement a K-8 benchmark assessment system for the 2021-2022 school year for the purpose of measuring student proficiency in reading and mathematics. Districts must present the results from the benchmark assessments administered to their school board in February 2022 and June 2022. This reporting will be provided to the Board of Education and posted on the district website under the transparency report link.
