I.F.2) 2022 Summer Tax Levy Resolution: Tina Monroe, Executive Director of Finance & Operations, is requesting that the Board approve the 2022 Summer Tax Levy Resolution before the December 31, 2021 deadline. This allows Eaton RESA to continue collecting fifty percent of the taxes in the summer and fifty percent in the winter from 7 of its 32 taxing units as done previously.

I.F.3) Mid-State Health Network (MSHN) Contract: Kim Thalison, Prevention Program Services Supervisor, is requesting that the Board authorize the Superintendent to execute an agreement with MSHN in an amount not to exceed $589,596. The funds provide prevention supports to Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties for programs, curriculum, community coalitions, evaluation, and training support. The agreement is from October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022.

I.F.4) Eaton County Board of Commissioners and the 56th Circuit Court Contract: Kim Thalison, Prevention Program Services Supervisor, is requesting that the Board authorize the Superintendent to execute an agreement with the Eaton County Board of Commissioners and the 56th Circuit Court in an amount not to exceed $131,500. The funds provide truancy case management for students and families who live in Eaton County. The agreement is from October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022.
I.F.5) Michigan Primary Care Association (MPCA) Contract Renewal: Kim Thalison, Prevention Program Services Supervisor, is requesting that the Board authorize the Superintendent to execute an agreement with MPCA in an amount not to exceed $105,000. The funds support implementation of the Michigan Model for Health curriculum in schools (pre-k through 12) throughout Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties. The agreement is from October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022.
I.F.6) Increase of FTE for Prevention Program Services: Kim Thalison, Prevention Program Services Supervisor, is requesting that the Board approve the increase of a 1.0 FTE Prevention Specialist. This position will provide services identified in the workplan of the CDC Department of Adolescent Sexual Health (DASH) grant for priority schools in Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties. The expenses related to the position will be funded through the CDC DASH grant.
I.F.7) 2021-22 Contracted Speech Pathology Services: Ryan Harp, Assistant Superintendent for Special Education, is requesting that the Board authorize the Superintendent to execute an agreement with Sunrise Rehabilitation to provide the current 1.0 FTE contracted Speech and Language Pathologist vacancy for the 2021-22 school year from October 21, 2021 to June 17, 2022 in an amount not to exceed $91,250.
I.F.8) Second Reading – School Safety Information: Based on review by the Superintendent and district HR/Safety Coordinator, the following revisions to Policy 8400 – School Safety Information are being provided for second reading and Board approval to align to a new administrative guideline regarding Threat Assessment and Intervention.

I.G.1) Budget Calendar: Tina Monroe, Executive Director of Finance & Operations, will discuss the Budget Calendar for the 2021-22 Revised and 2022-23 Proposed Budget.
I.G.2) Meadowview School 98b Goals for 2021-2022: Public Act 48 of 2021, Section 98b requires that all schools within a district establish educational goals expected to be achieved for the 2021-2022 school year. For Eaton RESA, students enrolled in Meadowview School in grades K-12 fall under this requirement. Michel McDonald and Elizabeth Longshore, Meadowview administrators, have worked with staff and the School Improvement Team to develop student growth goals in both reading and mathematics for students that will be measured and reported by the end of February 2022, and again by the end of the school year in June 2022, given fall 2021 baseline data. This reporting will be provided to the Board of Education and posted on the district website under the transparency report link.

I.G.3) COVID-19 Updates: Cindy Anderson, Superintendent, and cabinet members will provide the Board with an update on district implementation of COVID-19 protocols and instructional delivery for student programs, given the current impacts of the ongoing pandemic.
