II.A. Out-of-State Travel Request: Ryan Harp, Assistant Superintendent for Special Education, is requesting that the Board approve an Occupational Therapist to attend the American Occupational Therapy Association Annual Conference and Expo in Boston, Massachusetts, March 26-29, 2020.
II.B. New 1.0 FTE Assistant Principal for Meadowview School: Based on increases in student enrollment, the intensity of student needs and the amount/types of center-based special education programs being implemented by Meadowview School over the past three years, Ryan Harp, Assistant Superintendent for Special Education, is requesting that the Board approve a new 1.0 FTE Assistant Principal for Meadowview School. The estimated cost for salary & benefits is $135,000 for a 1.0 FTE position. By reducing current FTE of several support services at Meadowview School, shifting these supports to needs in our local districts and receiving an increase in state aid reimbursement for this new SE administrator position, there will not be increased costs in the SE budget or a negative impact to our local district SE claims. As a result, local district stakeholders are also supportive of adding this Assistant Principal position to Meadowview School.

II.C. Revised Administrative Wage/Compensation Schedule: A revised Administrative Wage/Compensation Schedule was developed to accommodate the qualifications of the Meadowview Assistant Principal position being brought to the Board for approval. The current Administrative Schedule reflects two wage scales for 260 day positions. This schedule has been revised to include an additional scale for a 210-day position for the Assistant Principal. The Executive Director of Finance and Operations is requesting approval of this revised Administrative Wage/Compensation schedule.
