Call to Order
The Board President will acknowledge that she approved the remote participation of all board members in order to conduct the April 19, 2021 scheduled board meeting as a virtual meeting as permitted pursuant to the Muskegon County Board of Commissioner's extension of the Local State of Emergency through December 31, 2021, which allows Muskegon County public bodies to meet electronically under the Open Meetings Act (MCL 15.263a(1)(b).

Review and reaffirm the MAISD mission and vision statements, and approve the updated MAISD Stragetic Plan goals. In addition, direct the superintendent to collaboratively work with MAISD staff and stakeholders to develop specific measurable objectives and strategies to support the revised Strategic Plan by the fall of 2021.
Approve the reconfirmation of instructional delivery methods for the Extended COVID-19 Learning Plan for MAISD Student Programs.
Review the 2021-22 General Fund Budget as it will be presented at the April 27, 2021, budget review with representatives from each constituent school district.
Approve a five-year lease with Xerox Financial Services LLC in the amount of $2,172 per month for a new Xerox B9125 and a demo V280 for the MAISD North copy center.
Review and approve the Head Start Transportation Waiver Request for the 2021-22 school year.
Approve the Muskegon Area Career Tech Center Calendar for the 2021-22 school year.
Approve the Center-Based Special Education Calendar for the 2021-22 school year.
Approve the Following New Positions/Changes:
Angela Brown - Moving from Family Service Worker to Family Advocate
Director of Communications Position
Approve New Salary Schedules/Changes as follows:
Kathleen Hamilton - Salary Change
Approve COLA of 1.5% for all non-union, non Head Start/GSRP funded employees.
Acknowledge the Retirement/Resignation/Layoff/Separation of the following personnel:
Kristin Tank - Resignation - Effective April 30, 2021
Holly Yarrington - Resignation - Effective April 9, 2021
