Description:
New Business Education Teacher Jenn Serkowski is starting a DECA group for interested students. DECA is an international organization/club in high schools and colleges around the globe that prepares students as emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.

At this time the board would like to invite any member of the audience to stand with comments about items of interest or concern that do or do not appear on the agenda this evening. Please begin by stating your name and address. 7.A. WASB Community Partners
Description:
The Wisconsin Association of School Boards (WASB) Business Honor Roll recognizes outstanding local businesses for their support of the District's schools. The program recognizes local business partners nominated by member school boards for providing resources or additional learning opportunities for students and staff. Congratulations to the following businesses for being named to the WASB 2025 Business Honor Roll.

7.B. ProHealth Partner Update
Description:
ProHealth Care partners Vicki Dallmann-Papke, VP Population Health Management, and Laura Anderson, Manager Occupational Health, will be at the meeting to share an update on the near-site clinic arrangement offered to and utilized by WUHS employees.

8.A. Policy Updates
Description:
The Policy Committee recently met to review a few policies. Proposed editorial changes to two policies (Pol. 2464 and Pol. 8540) were made, and additional language was introduced to Pol. 3112 and is included for approval.

8.B. Certification of the 2025-2026 School District Tax Levy
Description:
The District proposes certifying a total tax levy of $14,026,166 across all funds for the 2025-26 fiscal year. The levy is designed to sustain school operations, meet debt obligations, support the district’s post-employment benefit trust, and fund community service programming. The levy components are as follows:
The 2025-27 Wisconsin state budget provides an additional $325 per-pupil revenue limit increase for each of the next two years, but it does not include any increase in general state aid. As WASBO notes, this diverges from the state’s traditional cost-sharing role, shifting the responsibility for new spending authority primarily onto local property taxpayers. The Legislative Fiscal Bureau estimates this will add $760 million in property tax increases statewide over the biennium. For Waterford Union High School District, this means:

9. Superintendent's Report
Description:
Nexus Solutions is currently accepting bids for the main building renovations and loading-dock addition at Waterford Union High School. The project will start in January 2026 and will last 2 years, completing in August 2027. A voluntary contractor walk-through was held on October 24th, 2025. Nexus Solutions will be accepting bids until November 4th at 2 pm. The Board of Education is scheduled to review the bids during the November 17 meeting.

11. Board Work Session – District Administrator Evaluation Timeline
Description:
The Board of Education will conduct a work session to review the District Administrator Evaluation Timeline for 2025-26. The session will include discussion of prior goals, identification of goals for the current evaluation cycle, expectations for supporting evidence, and progress monitoring procedures. The purpose of this session is to ensure clarity, alignment, and shared understanding of the evaluation process and timeline.
