1. CALL TO ORDER
Description:
FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS - Announcement by the Board President whether a quorum is present, and that the notice of the meeting has been duly called, and posted in the time and manner required by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551. |
2. CLOSED SESSION
Description:
Recess to Executive Session, pursuant to Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section:
551.071) Private consultation with the board's attorney, 1. Discuss BCMS and NGC roof projects 551.072) Deliberation regarding real property. 551.074) To deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee, including the termination of a probationary contract employee, at the end of the current contract period and the proposed nonrenewal of the employment contract of a high school teacher. 1. Consider and discuss possible interim superintendents. 2. Attorney consultation regarding legal issues related to employment of interim superintendent. 551.076) Considering the deployment, specific occasions for, or implementation of, security personnel or devices. 551.082) Considering discipline of a public school child, or complaint or charge against personnel. 551.0821) Considering a matter regarding a public school student if personally identifiable information about the student will necessarily be revealed. 551.084) Investigating a matter where a witness is excluded from a hearing during the examination of another witness in the investigation. If, during the course of the meeting, the Board of Trustees should determine that a closed session is required, the Board will conduct a closed meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section listed above. The Board will vote on matters in Open Session considered in Closed Session or matters considered if the Board enters into a Closed meeting during the meeting, if applicable. |
